Dr. Nikolai Anatoly Pajari Finished

I think we'll call him doctor too. Don't know why, it just seems really fitting for this model - slightly disturbing and ready to apply his knowledge of human physiology in Q&A sessions.
Quite happy with the way he turned out.

Parts for the mini:
Head: Victoria Miniatures
Torso and powermaul: GW genestealer cult
Right arm: GW Mordheim middenheimer
Left arm: GW Empire general
Legs: GW chaos sorcerer
Shiled and book: GW greyknight accessories (I think).

Too red?

Have started the painting of Nikolai Anatoly Pajari, wondering a bit if he's getting too red - but seeing the pics here instead of RL I don't worry too much. I do think he'll be nicknamed The Red something though, perhaps Duke or Interrogater. Looking forward to getting him finished.

Double Tab Finished

Holy are the days this time of year - leaving us all with some good hobby time. Hence Double Tab was finished.
Perhaps not the most exiting paintjob, but I figured I'd go with something that would be fitting for a sniper - and that would also keep him in line with the rest of the retinue. So the red has been dialed somewhat back and the  brown and greys have taken over. I quite like how he ended up looking.

Santa's little helper?

In the true Xmas spirit, here is Santa's little helper, ready to fight void creatures of the sled.

Merry Christmas to you all and thanks for making hobbying extra fun.

Devil's in the details

Though I have had several people noting their concern for the safety hazard and breach of employees safety regulations I still decided to add a few candles to the promethium tank - I'm sure everything will be alright.......

Also, from the very good suggestion from Brassaxe of the Spacewolf community, I have tried a different approach to the candle on the Disciple, making it possible to make it even smaller - still could only fit one though. It's made from some thin electrical wire with a bit of the metalwire it self twisted into a flame like shape. White/wood glue was then added. Perfect.

Tanked!

So if you want to sell promethium you better have a place to store or those drops you siphon from wrecks and puddles. Of cause those retrieved product bits are not always the cleanest, so you'll need a small refinery too.

Think I'll add a few candles to this one too, but apart from that I think it's pretty much done.

Nikolai Anatoly Pajari

Experimented with a candle for the Disciple - looks better irl, doesn't photograph very well, I think I'll keep it and see what it looks like painted.
Also finished my Acolyte, Nikolai Anatoly Pajari. Schooled by Rodrigo Menéndez de Márques, he has all the right traits to become a stellar Inquisitor, his rather unforgiving personae is already feared among the Heretics.

Bringing the Word!

Hellbent on bringing the word of the Emperor to all, both those who wish and those who doesn't, The Disciple will deliver a soulripping sermon - silencing those who oppose with a heavy dose of lead.

I have been thinking about adding a candle to his right shoulderpad, not sure if it will work though. Apart from that he's finished.

Bulk

Didn't get as work into this during the weekend as I had hoped, but a bit of bulking was managed.

Inqusimunda-ish rules update

Version 1.1: Updated with minor rules corrections and added Mutant and Arbites/Expurgators warbands.

Double Tap in position

Sneaking into the bell-tower Double Tap could overlook the entire section of the town. Shortly after a wave of single shots fired rapidly sounded over the battlefield. " In position - you can advance freely" he sniggered over the comm-link.

Inquisimunda-ish skirmish rules

As mentioned previously I have been working on some rules for skirmishing Inquisimunda style. There has been some interest so I might as well share. We never played any skirmish games in this setting and the main cause for this compilation of rules was to have a very short set of rules - two pages here actually. Please bear in mind that the rules were made for some personal gaming and will most likely be easy to exploit, if winning is the sole purpose of your gaming. The rules are a mixup of rules from Mordheim, Necromunda, Inquisimunda, both original and Yak tribe, and 1 Page Kill team. So far the only contain the Inquisition and Chaos covens, cause that's what we'll use, we use the warbands from Yak Tribe's Inqusimunda though if you want to have ago at some other ones. Any comments and suggestions most welcome - also on the name!

Ever had a Dremel taken to your face?

....well this unlucky individual has. Unlucky as he might have been, he still answers to the nick Double Tap. Usually is dead on spot.

Actually this might be used in a game in some not to distant future, hence I have considered mounting on a different base - but he just looks absolutely perfect on those stairs, and since I mostly paint for the building and painting I think I'll leave him on this. My mate is also not concerned about such things, as base decor as we (though very rarely) usually play for the fun of it. It will also be our first venture into Inquisimunda - and I really hope we can get something going as years ago Mordheim was the greatest game I ever played. As we both had grown a bit tired of the endless pages of rules in 40K - and many other games as well for the matter, a rulesset which is a mash up of Onepage Kill Team, Necromunda, Inquisimunda (Yak tribe) and Mordheim has been manufactured. Managing to get all the actual game rules into 2 pages, and then leaving all special rules to the specific relevant areas. In this way, we can read all the rules in 15 minutes, learn our warband and weapon specific rules and then leave it up to the rules junkies to read more if they want to.

The Promethium Dealer Finished

In the intricate courts of the AdMech the struggle for power never stops, and as history is written by the victors only their names are known outside the vast forgeworlds. But for every victor there are hundreds of adepts loosing the battle for power and only acts as stepping stones on other's path to glory. The techpriests loosing out on glory and power end up as low level priests, assigned to distant locations or chose to leave the forgeworld altogether. After such a battle for power Ahrman Rhadi has been trying to hide his shame on borderline off world planets, where he has been scavenging the ruins of settlements and warzones, making a living finding leftover prometium and selling it to the needy inhabitants and warriors of local clans. Since his fall he has only been known as the Prometium Dealer.

The Promethium Dealer

He'll be leading Big Nasty, Half 'n' Half, Jäeger and The Mechanical Dog (and more dodgy characters to come) in the darkness of the future.
Had the idea for this guy some time back when I read a very inspiring thread on The Ammobunker, concerning a librarian searching warzones for any books which had not been destroyed. I really liked the idea of such a retinue - not really combat orientated, but fulfilling a niche task with intense determination. So I figured, what would the everyday people need - fuel. Fuel for vehicles, for cooking and for fighting - good money could be made if one knew how to retrieve, process and store such a product.
